The comfort e-bikes are available in different frame sizes. It fits people with a height between 1.50 m and 1.95 m.
An e-bike is a regular bicycle with pedals, but it’s equipped with an electric motor and a battery. You pedal just like on a regular bicycle, but as soon as you start pedaling, the electric motor kicks in and gives you an extra boost. As soon as you stop pedaling, the electric motor stops and you coast along easy. So e-bikes aren’t electric mopeds with a “throttle”—instead, you can adjust the level of assistance using a small button on the handlebars.
Use this button to choose between the different levels of assistance. Increase the assistance level of the powerful BOSCH electric motor at easy , and climbing hills becomes a pleasure. Or reduce the motor assistance if you need less help. The assistance stops completely when you exceed a speed of 25 km/h, so you’ll never accelerate “endlessly.”
Please note that, under Swiss law, e-bikes are prohibited for people under the age of 16. There is also a weight limit of 110 kg / 240 lbs. If you weigh more than that, we offer "heavy-load" e-bikes. Please click here to view the "heavy-load" e-bike.
Full day = from morning to afternoon (see opening hours). The price is therefore not valid for 24 hours.
The minimum rental period for online bookings is 4 hours. A shorter rental period is only possible directly in the bike store on site.
Please note that a “full day” does not mean 24 hours, but rather from when our shop opens until it closes. Overnight rentals are available upon request for non-e-bikes. Once we’ve confirmed that your hotel or youth hostel has a secure, lockable room for bicycles, you can rent one overnight. Without a lockable room, theft is not covered by insurance, and you would have to pay for a stolen bicycle yourself.
We do not normally rent out our e-bikes overnight. Overnight e-bike rentals are available only during the off-season (April, May, and October) upon request via email. Overnight rentals are not available through our online booking system.
It is not possible to hire this bike for several days.
