On this bike tour, the guide will take you across the so-called "Bödeli": Interlaken, Unterseen, Lake Thun, Wilderswil, Bönigen and Lake Brienz. 3 hours of pure villages, nature and lakes!
After the tour, we'll send you the photos the guide took on the bike tour. Free of charge!
If you want to see the beautiful nature and historic old wooden chalets around Interlaken, you should definitely take part in this guided e-bike tour!
On this guided tour, we start directly at Flying Wheels in Interlaken and travel along the Aare River to the historic old town of Unterseen. From there, we continue to a farm where you'll see cows, horses, and chickens. The tour continues to beautiful Lake Thun, stopping at a viewpoint where you'll see all three famous mountains: the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. On flat forest paths, we follow the Aare River to the next town, Wilderswil, and from there, a leisurely stroll to the turquoise-colored Lake Brienz.
During the tour, your guide will provide you with plenty of historical and current information. Of course, he/she will also be happy to share tips on other great things to see and experience in our beautiful Jungfrau region.
Tour duration: the tour lasts 3 hours. You will spend about 2 hours on your bike, 1 hour is reserved for sightseeing, lots of explanations from your guide, a visit to the farm and lots of photos.
Online bookings are possible up to 2 hours before the start of the tour.
You can also come to Flying Wheels 30 minutes before the start of the tour on the day of the tour. If we still have room, you're in!

For families, we offer two versions of our Interlaken tour:
- The 3-hour Interlaken tour in the morning: easy, also suitable for beginners, Lake Thun, farm visit, old town of Unterseen, historic Wilderswil and Bönigen, Lake Brienz, approx. 20 km / 12 miles
- The 2-hour Interlaken tour in the afternoon: easy, also suitable for beginners, Lake Thun, farm visit, old town of Unterseen, approx. 12 km / 7 miles
Both guided bike tours are suitable for younger children who cannot yet ride a bike themselves, as well as for children and teenagers who can already ride a bike confidently. For children, we offer child seats (one child, max. 20 kg, max. 8 years) or a child trailer (up to two children, total max. 40 kg), see here. If the children are taller/heavier, they can ride in the cargo e-bike (one or two children, total max. 60 kg). Young people under the age of 16 are not allowed to ride e-bikes in Switzerland. If your teenagers are fit, they can easily participate on a normal bike without an e-bike.
The 2-hour Interlaken tour is flat throughout. The 3-hour Interlaken tour is also flat, but has a small, short climb. As the tour is also very popular with adults riding e-bikes, it is important that children cycle regularly so that they do not hold up the group. The pace of our tours is generally leisurely, so children who are good cyclists have always been able to keep up easily (in fact, they are usually faster than the adults 🙂).
Participation for children who still need training wheels is unfortunately not possible.

If you are more than 6 people, we also offer individual tours. According to your ideas, we advise you in the tour planning and put together a suitable tour for your group. Also the organization of catering, consideration of special requests, the transport of the bikes etc. are possible within the framework of an individual tour.
Yes, we do! Here you can see which private tours we offer.
If you can read a map (which we provide for free) or just want to ride a bike with your friends / family, you can simply rent our bikes. We will be happy to give you tips on where you can go (and where you better not go) and what you should pay attention to.
If you are not a hero when it comes to finding your way around with the help of a map and if you want to have a stress-free time while finding out / seeing a lot about Interlaken and the surrounding villages, culture, nature, etc., a guided tour is the better option.
Yes, it is possible. You won't find these hiking tours on our website, but we can chat to see which tours are suitable for you and your group / family. Write to us!
