During our bike season from the end of March to October, we are open daily from Monday to Sunday (including public holidays). At Flying Wheels you can rent bikes and e-bikes every day. From November to March our bikes are in hibernation.
We are closed in bad weather conditions (heavy rain, storms, hail, thunderstorms, cold). However, you probably don't want to go on a bike tour on such days 😉 You can find up-to-date information on days when we are closed on Google .

The start of the 2026 season is Friday, March 27, 2026. Before that, our bikes are still in hibernation.

Bad Weather Hours
If there is a forecast for bad weather (heavy rain, snow, etc.), we may be closed on those days. If it is raining, please call us before you come by to make sure we are open. If you have booked a tour or reserved bikes and it rains, we will contact you in advance, but we will of course still be in the store to discuss whether or not we can do the tour/bike rental.
November through February our store is closed. These are the winter months in the Swiss Alps, so it is quite unlikely that you will be able to make a bike tour.
What does "Open only on request" mean? It is not sure if we will open and decide daily if we will open the store or not. Contact us and we will let you know if we will open our store or not. If our answering machine turns on or we don't answer your email directly, our store is closed.
Write us if you have any questions.
But wait: have you checked if the question is already answered?
