This is the shorter version of our 6-hour Lauterbrunnen tour.
The e-bike tour starts in Interlaken and takes us along beautiful forest trails to Lauterbrunnen. Along the way, we enjoy impressive views of the Alpine landscape. Thanks to our super-comfortable and easy-to-use e-bikes, the route is also suitable for recreational cyclists. In Lauterbrunnen, we visit spectacular sights such as the Staubbach Falls, one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Switzerland. Optionally, we visit the spectacular Trümmelbach Falls inside the mountain (entrance fee of CHF 16 is not included).
This 4-hour tour is perfect if you want to see this beautiful valley but are short on time or budget. If you have a little more time, we highly recommend joining our 6-hour Lauterbrunnen tour! The 6-hour tour includes admission to the Trümmelbach Falls and you will also get to enjoy our delicious Swiss Mountain Picnic (no, a sandwich is no substitute for this amazing picnic). The 6-hour tour is an emotional experience for connoisseurs, while the 4-hour tour saves time and money.
During the tour, your guide will take lots of photos, which will be sent to you after the tour. Free of charge!
Differences from the 6-hour Lauterbrunnen tour:
A wonderful ride on e-bikes along the Lütschine glacier river to the enchanting valley of 72 waterfalls, one of the most spectacular valleys in Switzerland. In Lauterbrunnen, we visit the famous Staubbach waterfall. Even the poet Goethe raved about the beauty of this waterfall.
Optionally, you can also visit the unique Trümmelbach Falls. 20,000 liters of water per second thunder through a narrow gorge inside the mountain. Get ready for an incredible experience :-). The visit is optional, and the entrance fee (CHF 16) for the Trümmelbach Falls is not included in the price of the 4-hour tour. Duration approx. 30-45 minutes.
An e-bike tour with gentle inclines on paved roads and gravel paths into this beautiful valley that will fascinate you. We promise!
Your guide knows the region inside out and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. He or she will be happy to advise you on what to do in Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken, and the entire Jungfrau Region.
After the Lauterbrunnen tour, we will send you the photos and videos that the guide took during the bike tour. Free of charge!
Tour duration:The tour lasts 4 hours. You will spend approximately 2.5 hours cycling, with 1.5 hours reserved for sightseeing, numerous photo and video stops, an optional visit to the Trümmelbach Falls, and explanations from your guide.
This e-bike tour is not suitable for beginners! We ride on paved roads and gravel forest trails. The forest trails are beautiful and no problem for experienced cyclists, but not suitable for beginners.
Online requests can be made up to 2 hours before the tour starts.
You can also come to Flying Wheels on the day of the tour, no later than 30 minutes before the tour starts, without making a reservation. If we still have space, you're in!

For families, we offer two versions of our Interlaken tour:
- The 3-hour Interlaken tour in the morning: easy, also suitable for beginners, Lake Thun, farm visit, old town of Unterseen, historic Wilderswil and Bönigen, Lake Brienz, approx. 20 km / 12 miles
- The 2-hour Interlaken tour in the afternoon: easy, also suitable for beginners, Lake Thun, farm visit, old town of Unterseen, approx. 12 km / 7 miles
Both guided bike tours are suitable for younger children who cannot yet ride a bike themselves, as well as for children and teenagers who can already ride a bike confidently. For children, we offer child seats (one child, max. 20 kg, max. 8 years) or a child trailer (up to two children, total max. 40 kg), see here. If the children are taller/heavier, they can ride in the cargo e-bike (one or two children, total max. 60 kg). Young people under the age of 16 are not allowed to ride e-bikes in Switzerland. If your teenagers are fit, they can easily participate on a normal bike without an e-bike.
The 2-hour Interlaken tour is flat throughout. The 3-hour Interlaken tour is also flat, but has a small, short climb. As the tour is also very popular with adults riding e-bikes, it is important that children cycle regularly so that they do not hold up the group. The pace of our tours is generally leisurely, so children who are good cyclists have always been able to keep up easily (in fact, they are usually faster than the adults 🙂).
Participation for children who still need training wheels is unfortunately not possible.
