From Interlaken, the tour follows the Aare River to Lake Brienz. The view from the lakeshore over the turquoise-green waters alone is worth the trip. Then, the climb continues to Iseltwald, one of the most beautiful villages in the Bernese Oberland. The route continues high above Lake Brienz to the roaring Giessbach Waterfalls. Don't miss the short hike behind the waterfall: the view from there of Lake Brienz and the famous historic Hotel Giessbach is unforgettable!

The tour is suitable for beginners who can ride a bike safely. If you're not so fit, we highly recommend an e-bike. If you're fit, you can also have a wonderful day on a regular bike.
