This circular tour leads around the beautiful Lake Brienz, which is known for its turquoise-blue water. Most of the route runs far above the lake and offers breathtaking views of Lake Brienz and the surrounding mountains. The starting point is Interlaken, from where you cycle clockwise around the lake. Some sections are flat and easy to ride, while others include climbs and descents with gravel. Highlights of the route include the pretty village of Iseltwald, the imposing Giessbach Falls and the picturesque promenade in Brienz.

We do not recommend cycling around Lake Brienz for beginners. If you cycle less often, try the route to Iseltwald or the Giessbach waterfalls.

We recommend an e-bike, unless you are really fit.
