Hello you, it's us

About us

Flying Wheels is the leading provider of rental bikes, e-bikes and guided tours with e-bikes in Interlaken and the surrounding area. Since 2010 we are motivated to bring our guests closer to the beauty of Interlaken, Unterseen, Wilderswil, Matten and Bönigen, as well as the fascinating valley of 72 waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen on our guided e-bike tours. Of course you can also go on tour yourself, rent a bike or e-bike and explore the area. We will be happy to advise you where to find the most beautiful places and sights. For this purpose we have created our own maps with bike routes. Whether bike, mountain bike, e-bike or tandem: we have the right bike for you and help you with tips and information about Interlaken and its surroundings.

However, you probably don't want to go on a bike tour on such days 😉 You can find up-to-date information on days when we are closed on Google .

Bad Weather Hours
If there is a forecast for bad weather (heavy rain, snow, etc.), we may be closed on those days. If it is raining, please call us before you come by to make sure we are open. If you have booked a tour or reserved bikes and it rains, we will contact you in advance, but we will of course still be in the store to discuss whether or not we can do the tour/bike rental.
November through February our store is closed. These are the winter months in the Swiss Alps, so it is quite unlikely that you will be able to make a bike tour.

What does "Open only on request" mean? It is not sure if we will open and decide daily if we will open the store or not. Contact us and we will let you know if we will open our store or not. If our answering machine turns on or we don't answer your email directly, our store is closed.
